GojiCenter uses Google and YouTube account information only to verify whether a visitor is an active GojiCenter YouTube channel member and to provide access to member-only content.

Information we use

When you choose “Verify Membership,” you sign in through Google. The site may receive basic Google account authorization information and uses YouTube API access to identify your YouTube channel, including your YouTube channel ID and channel name. We use that information to check whether your channel appears on GojiCenter’s current membership roster or, when available, through YouTube’s membership API.

Membership roster data

GojiCenter may import an official membership roster exported from YouTube Studio. That roster may contain a member’s YouTube channel ID, channel/member name, membership level, and the time the roster was imported. This information is used for membership verification and administration.

How we use and store information

Membership information is used only to operate GojiCenter member access, maintain the membership system, prevent unauthorized access, and troubleshoot the service. After successful verification, the site stores a short-lived verification cookie in your browser so you do not have to verify on every page load. Viewer Google access tokens are used during the verification process and are not intentionally stored by GojiCenter as long-term viewer credentials.

Sharing and selling data

GojiCenter does not sell Google or YouTube user data. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the website and database, or disclosed when required by law. We do not use Google or YouTube account data for advertising.

Google API Services

GojiCenter’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Data retention and deletion

Membership roster information may be replaced when a newer roster is imported. Verification cookies expire automatically. If you want to request deletion of information associated with your membership verification, contact us using the address below. You can also revoke GojiCenter’s Google account access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect the information used by the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the latest revision.
